Safer Tours for 2020/21

It is no longer possible to travel together in a van, but the city's great architecture is too spread out to visit on foot. So, for the 2020/21 season, we're offering outdoor tours that are broad in scope, safer, healthier and every bit as fun and informative.

BIKE TOURS - Active visitors can combine fun outdoor activity with great modern architecture by cycling through the city's most beautiful neighborhoods. Bike tours are offered for up to 6 people. Bikes are not included, but can be easily accessed at our local bike rental partner, or through local resorts or vacation homes. Learn more. (Minimum 90 minutes up to half day.)

HIKING TOURS - Hike one of the many popular mountain trails around Palm Springs while taking in spectacular views and learning about the city's fascinating past, natural history and architectural legacy. Local mountains can be steep and rocky so these tours are appropriate for fit, experienced day hikers. Learn more. (Min. 3 hrs up to half day)

TWO-VEHICLE INTENSIVE TOURS - Visitors with an academic or professional interest in architecture may choose to traverse the city with Trevor in two vehicles, stopping along the way to consider in depth the city's architectural history and its fine examples of modernist design. These tours are offered on a limited basis primarily for architects, design professionals and avid learners. Learn more.

"We had a fabulous time in Palm Springs but it wouldn't have been half the trip if we hadn't taken this tour with Trevor. It set the context for our entire visit and got us in the "Palm Springs" frame of mind. Trevor is conscientious, polite, personable and so interesting. I was worried that such a tour might be too touristy but it was in depth and entertaining. Thanks from Southern Alberta!!."
